Tom Dunnett

Tom was born in 1991 and grew up in Norwich, where he played in the county jazz orchestra, symphony orchestra and wind band, sang as a chorister at Norwich Cathedral, and attended Norwich School.
In 2009 he went to Birmingham Conservatoire, studying under Ashley Horton, Jeremy Price and Pete Beachill. While there he took part in workshops and received tuition from musicians including Dave Holland, Mark Turner, Lee Konitz, George Colligan, Jeff Ballard, Mark Bassey, Mike Williams and Percy Pursglove.
Alongside the Syd Lawrence Orchestra, Tom plays in MYJO under John Ruddick, and has performed with the 606 Big Band, the London Jazz Orchestra and the Julian Joseph Big Band, as well as leading his own quintet.
