Live at Your Party

The Syd Lawrence Orchestra offers private event performances where our musicians come to you - playing in your outdoor space or venue of choice. The service grew out of lockdown, as a way to bring live music to audiences during restricted times, and has continued ever since.

Enjoy music from a trio to a full big band, with a lineup customised to your event. The band performs two amazing sets of music, bespoke to your occasion.

Our SwingShift Band is the flexible option: starting with a three-piece rhythm section plus vocalist Chris, with the ability to add further musicians - meaning we can work around all budgets. The service is also available for memorial services and celebration-of-life events.
